Currently I have two torrents from separate trackers that are on 0B of OB status. I am using transmission. On one torrent at last announce it says "got 50 peers" the other "got 48 peers. In my case, it was also helpful to change the setting of the random port picking option to true.
In transmission, you do it by following these instructions:. And now it works. If you suffered from this issue, it's possible that download-dir changed as well. I switched to port and it now functions. I'm not sure if this is a long-term solution, but in any case shows that this is network issue and not something related to transmission.
Thanks everyone for their help. I was facing the same issue. Changed the peer-port-random-on-start to true as suggested. Still was unable to download. Installed it on my Ubuntu Wonder what was the issue with transmission. I've changed the setting peer-port-random-on-start from false to true. That did the trick for me transmission-daemon. However, many users report problems while downloading, such as uTorrent not connecting to peers or not downloading issues.
Downloading copyrighted shows, movies and music is illegal , and can attract significant penalties. All the major studios actively track the IP addresses of the computers illegally downloading their works. They then contact the associated internet service providers ISPs and get them to trace that IP address back to you.
In many countries, ISPs are legally obligated to tell the studios who you are. Note: Some VPN services are free but, as with most things in life, you get what you pay for.
Firstly, you need to make sure your Windows Firewall or anti-virus app is not blocking your uTorrent. Although the uTorrent setup wizard will automatically add an exception for uTorrent in Windows Firewall, sometimes this will fail due to your third-party antivirus settings.
If your antivirus app is doing an excellent job, it may take over control over your Windows Firewall and block your uTorrent, thus causing uTorrent not downloading issues. If your uTorrent is stuck on connecting to peers , it can be a temporary stale download caused by outdated seeders or trackers. Search Everywhere Threads This forum This thread. Search titles only.

Most torrent clients today have a download limit option that could be enabled by default. Increasing this limit might help with the torrent not downloading files properly. If so, it could have something to do with torrent connection issues.
In general, your torrent speed is affected the most by the number of peers who are seeding the torrent file to you. Normally, when you find a torrent file online, it will tell you how many people are seeding it at the moment. If you see that the number is considerably lower during the download, you can try to pause and start the download, or even delete your current torrent file and try to do the whole process again from the torrent website.
In some cases, the problem could be with the torrent client itself. So try to download the same file with another client. Folx is a powerful download manager and torrent client in one.
