That error message is coming from McDonald's server, it has nothing to do with your iPhone. If you ask for a supervisor enough times with McDonalds support they will reset your account and all will be well again. When I switched to a new phone, MD's app keep asking me to verify my device, asking me to click a "verify" link in the email. But every time it would bring up the App, but does not do anything to log in. When I click log in again, the same cycle repeats. I have found a way round this: Click "forget password" link in the log in page.
It sends a verification code to my email, that I can enter using the keypad, instead of relying on the automatic link. I then re-entered the same password I have been using. Once the password is reset, I am logged into the App and once I am logged in, I have no problem loggin in and out of the app again. FYI you can "reset" the password to your current password when you do this.
